Outdoor Literbox

Does anyone know if its possible to teach your cat to use the liter box outside?
I refuse to clean another literbox in my life!!!!! So im trying an alternative. My kitty is aprox 2-3mths old.

Why do you have a cat if you don't want to clean litterboxes? Seriously? First of all, your cat is too young to have had all of its shots so throwing them outside is very dangerous and irresponsible. Is your cat fixed? If not, letting it outside is extremely irresponsible of you. Giving them a sandy area to use outside is also not a good idea. Fleas can breed heavily in sandboxes and will pose an issue to both your cat and your household. I have two suggestions for you. First thing you can do is get an automatic litterbox like a littermaid. ALl you need to do is empty the litter bin daily. There are also several brands on the market so you can pick the one that suites you the best. The second is to give the cat to a home that is willing to take on the responsibility of having a cat. Face it, if you don't want to take a few minutes of your day to scoop a litterbox, you shouldn't have a cat.

It is; but i wouldn't recommend doing this unless you install a cat door, so the car can go outside whenever it would like. Although i haven't done this before, i think you should buy some sand and create a sandy area of the backyard. Cats like to pee in places that are sandy - which is part of the reason for cat litter the way it is. Then go through the same process you would to litter box train a cat. If the only reason for doing this is not cleaning a litter box, you could also either buy a self cleaning box or buy cat litter box bags - the bags make it easy to just CHANGE the litter; you take them out like you do the trash, tie them up and through them away. Granted, you'll go through more litter that way but it'll also solve the problem.
